Creative Collages

The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) invites artists and photographers of all levels to submit original collage artwork to this exhibition. Artists are creating exciting collages using mixed media, digital, assemblage, photomontage, decoupage and other techniques that manipulate various materials, textures, colors, shapes, scale and subject matter. Artwork can be two-dimensional or three-dimensional. Any subject matter is welcome, whether simple or complex, serene or frenetic, serious or humorous.

Submission is exclusively through CAFE (CallForEntry). Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 different images, with additional images available for $5.00 each up to a maximum of 9 images. All images must be JPEG format, under 5 MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Artists should provide title, medium, size, price and year of completion for each work. Artwork must be professionally finished and ready for secure installation with stretched wire attached to the back. Maximum artwork size is 48 inches (framed) on the longest side and must not weigh more than 45 lbs. Photographs should be framed with black or white frames preferred, with white or off-white mats only.

A committee of jurors composed of artists, gallerists, art reviewers, publishers, curators, and academics will review submissions. Notification to artists will be sent by email on or about July 9, 2025. Accepted artwork must arrive at the gallery no later than August 22, 2025. The exhibition runs August 27 - September 27, 2025. Awards include an "Art of Distinction" Award, an Annual Grand Prize offering a New York City exhibition opportunity, and an optional Director's Choice Award of $200. For sales, artists receive 70% of the final sale price and the gallery receives 30%. Artists retain all rights to their work.
