CREATE Art Show 2026

CREATE is the first art show of its kind in Southern Indiana, where the Art Community fully supports the Arts. This show brings together the visual arts to help support the performing arts. Clarksville Little Theatre (CLT) first opened in 1947 and has been providing Southern Indiana and Metro Louisville with productions of beloved shows ever since. CREATE was the brainchild of one of Clarksville Little Theatre's board members, and a fellow visual artist, asking you the artist, to join in helping preserve the performing arts while CLT helps preserve and promote the visual arts. 100% of all proceeds from the application process will go directly to Clarksville Little Theatre.

CREATE will be held on the grounds of CLT, located in Clarksville, IN directly across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY. The event will host a little over 100 vendors and food trucks, with several thousand visitors expected. The festival takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10am - 6pm with FREE ADMISSION for the public. This juried event maintains high standards by auditing booths to prevent buy/sell and mass-produced vendors, ensuring a quality experience for both artists and visitors.

Artist categories include: Ceramics, Consumables, Drawing, Digital Art, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, 2D Mixed-Media, 3D Mixed Media, Metal/Blacksmithing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood. Application requirements include a $25 jury fee (non-refundable), 5 images (3 product images, 1 booth image, 1 workspace/studio image), and an artist statement. Booth space is $150 for a 10'x10' WHITE tent only, with 25lb weights required on all corners. Artists must be present throughout the day and display only their own original works. Setup is Saturday 7am - 9:30am, with breakdown from 6pm - 8pm.
