Cream of the Crop Artists Gallery at the Minnesota State Fair

Cream of the Crop Artists Gallery invites artists to exhibit their best artworks in any medium at the Minnesota State Fair. The gallery is located in the West End Market, a 20' x 10' booth positioned near the Schell's Stage at Schilling Amphitheater. Accepted mediums include sculpture, paintings, seed art paintings, lithography prints, monotypes, silkscreens, etchings, photographs, knitted sculpture, art jewelry, artful totes, and artful tees. Originality is required, and diversity in mediums is encouraged.

The gallery will be open for 12 days during the fair (August 23-September 3, 2018) from 9 AM to 9 PM daily. Artists can drop off artwork before the fair opens with parking available by the West End Market. Drop-off dates are Sunday, August 19 (Noon-4:00 PM), Monday, August 20 (10:00 AM-3:00 PM), or by appointment. Pick-up is Tuesday, September 4 (9:30 AM-3:00 PM). The gallery can accommodate back stock and arrange replenishment during the fair.

Artwork should represent what you do best and be suitable for sale in multiples. Editions of prints are available and displayed for purchase. Large works can be displayed on walls, and big sculptures can be placed outdoors. Gallery walls rotate artwork throughout the fair. All artwork must be ready to hang, and artists are responsible for transportation. All prints, photographs, and paper works must be backed with chipboard and sleeved with plastic. Entry fee is $25.00. Submit 3-12 images. Entry deadline is July 30, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
