About This Call
The 28th Annual Crafts at the Cathedral is a juried fine craft show taking place December 4-6, 2026, at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City. Produced by Rose Squared Art Shows in partnership with the Cathedral, this event directly supports the Cathedral's community initiatives while providing artists an extraordinary venue to showcase their work. Set within the breathtaking nave of one of the world's largest Gothic cathedrals, the show features towering columns, stunning stained-glass windows, and Vermont slate floors. Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, the Cathedral is a top tourist destination drawing thousands of visitors, especially during the holiday season.
The show accepts 75 fine artists and fine crafters across multiple categories including Ceramics, Jewelry, Digital Art, Drawing and Pastels, Apothecary, and Artisanal Food. Artists must submit 5 images (4 of artwork and 1 booth shot) for jury consideration. The jury process is blind, with images reviewed by four art professionals who judge solely on artistic excellence and overall show balance. Jury fee is $55 (late fee $65 after May 18, 2026). Application deadline is May 31, 2026. Jury results are emailed June 15, 2026, with booth fees due August 1, 2026.
Booth options range from 10'x10' standard ($695-$765) to 10'x20' corner ($1,780), all including electric. Setup occurs December 2-3 with timed load-in; porters are available to assist. Expected attendance is 5,000+ paid visitors. Liability insurance is required for all artists; Rose Squared has negotiated a discount with ACT insurance. The artist must be present; buy/sell and representatives are not permitted. Multiple applications are allowed for different media categories, but jewelry must be applied for separately.
