CraftForms 2023: 28th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft

Wayne Art Center is seeking submissions for the 28th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft. Work in the following mediums is eligible: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools is also eligible. Selected works will be on display in the Davenport Gallery from December 2, 2023 through January 20, 2024. This year's juror, Jean McLaughlin, will present $10,000 in prize awards.

Eligibility requirements: Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Works submitted must be original in design; collaborative works are accepted. Work must have been completed in the last 2 years (created after January 1, 2021). Work previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center is not eligible. All work must be for sale and remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Entry fee is $45 per application. Artists may submit up to 2 works per application, with a maximum of three images per piece (one full view plus up to two alternate views or details). Artists may submit additional applications using the same name and contact information but different login credentials.

Accepted artists must ship work to arrive November 6-10, 2023. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a pre-paid return shipping label. Wayne Art Center will insure work for 60% of its retail value while on premises. A $25 handling fee applies upon confirmation of participation. The sale price submitted on the entry form must remain throughout the exhibition. Wayne Art Center retains 40% commission on all sales. Notification of acceptance or decline will be sent by email on October 2, 2023. Hand pickup of unsold work is January 22-26, 2024, and work will be ready for return shipment around February 9, 2024.
