CraftForms 2021: 26th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft

CraftForms 2021 is the 26th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft, held at Wayne Art Center's Davenport Gallery in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 3, 2021 through January 29, 2022. The exhibition welcomes submissions in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools is also eligible. Juror Carol Sauvion, Executive Director of Craft in America, will present $10,000 in prize awards.

Eligibility requirements: Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Works submitted must be original in design, with collaborative works accepted. Work must have been completed in the last 2 years (created after January 1, 2019). Work previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center is not eligible. All work must be for sale and remain on display for the duration of the exhibit.

Submission details: Entry fee is $45 per application. Artists may submit up to 2 works per application with a maximum of 3 images per piece (one full view plus up to two alternate views or details). Images must be uploaded as JPG files with dimensions of 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 5 MB. The entry deadline is September 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of accepted and declined work will be communicated by email between September 27 and October 1, 2021. Selected works should be shipped or hand-delivered to Wayne Art Center between November 8-12, 2021. Wayne Art Center will insure accepted work for 60% of its retail value while on premises. A $25 handling fee must be paid upon confirmation of participation. The opening reception is December 3, 2021 from 6-9:00 p.m., with the Preview Party and Juror's Lecture on December 4. Hand pickup of unsold work is January 31 – February 4, 2022. Wayne Art Center retains a 40% commission on all sales.
