CraftForms 2021

Wayne Art Center is seeking submissions for the 26th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft. Artists may submit work in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools is also eligible. Selected works will be on display in the Davenport Gallery of Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 4, 2020, through January 30, 2021. This year's juror, Jeannine Falino, will present $10,000 in prize awards.

Eligibility requirements: Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Works submitted must be original in design, and collaborative works are accepted. Work must have been completed in the last 2 years (created after January 1, 2018). Work previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center is not eligible. All work must be for sale and must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Entry fee is $45 per application. Artists may submit up to 2 works per application, with a maximum of four images uploaded to show one full view and one detail view of each piece. Image specifications: JPEG or JPG format only, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB file size.

Important dates: Online call for entry runs March 10 – September 15, 2021. Notification of acceptance/decline will be sent September 27, 2021. Delivery of accepted work is November 8–12. The opening reception is Friday, December 3, 2021, 6:00–10:00 p.m., with the exhibition continuing through January 29, 2022. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a pre-paid return shipping label with their work. Wayne Art Center will insure work for 60% of its retail value while on the premises. A $25 handling fee must be paid upon confirmation of participation in the show.
