Craft Forms 2019: 25th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft

Craft Forms 2019 is the 25th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft, presented by Wayne Art Center. The exhibition will be held at the Davenport Gallery in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 6, 2019 through February 1, 2020. This juried exhibition welcomes submissions in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools is also eligible. The juror, Jane Milosch, will present $10,000 in prize awards.

Eligibility requirements include: artists must be 18 years of age or older; works must be original in design (collaborative works are accepted); work must have been completed in the last 2 years (created after January 1, 2017); work previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center is not eligible; and all work must be for sale and remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Entry fee is $45 per application. Artists may submit up to 2 works per application with a maximum of four images to show alternate views or details. Submissions must include JPG files at 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and under 5 MB in file size.

Selected works will be notified between October 1-5, 2019 by email. Accepted work should be shipped or hand-delivered to Wayne Art Center between November 13-15, 2019. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a pre-paid return shipping label. Wayne Art Center will insure work for 60% of its retail value while on the premises. A $25 handling fee applies upon confirmation of participation. The opening reception is December 6, 2019 at 6-9:00 pm, with a Preview Party and Juror's Lecture on December 7. Hand pickup of unsold work is available February 3-8, 2020. Wayne Art Center retains a 40% commission on all sales.
