CPAC Annual Members Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center announces its annual juried members' photography exhibition. This year's juror is Tim Wride, William & Sarah Ross Soter Curator of Photography at the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach. The exhibition will be a survey of new work made by CPAC members within the past three years, intended to highlight the creative talents of CPAC's core constituency. There is no theme. The show is open to current, registered members of the organization only.

Works submitted must have been made within three years of the exhibition deadline. All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography. Submissions should include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 10 images, with up to 3 videos allowed. First three images are free for current members; additional images are $5 each. A $300 purchase award will be given for Best of Show, chosen by the juror on site at CPAC. The selected image will become part of CPAC's permanent photography collection. Three Honorable Mention awards will be made. An exhibition catalog will be published online; awardees will receive a printed version.

Application deadline: Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Application notifications sent July 11, 2016. Exhibition dates: August 5-27, 2016. Opening reception and award ceremony with the juror: Saturday, August 13, 2016, 5-8pm. Closing Reception: Saturday, August 27, 2016. Framed artwork must be received no later than Saturday, July 30th.
