Cow Chip Arts and Crafts Fair 2026

The Cow Chip Arts and Crafts Fair is part of the annual Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw and Festival, one of the region's largest events. This one-day, juried art and craft fair will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9am-5pm in Marion Park, Prairie du Sac, WI. The fair hosts 150 vendor spaces featuring a wide variety of art and fine craft items for sale.

Booth spaces are 15ft x 15ft outdoor spaces on grass with no electricity access. Applications are juried blind by a committee based solely on media category and submitted photos. The jury fee is $25 (non-refundable) and booth fees are $105 for one space, $205 for two spaces, and $285 for three spaces. All work must be original, handcrafted items created by the exhibiting artist. Buy/sell items, consignment pieces, work made from kits/patterns, imported items, and food vendors are not eligible.

Two vendors will be selected as Best in Show winners, receiving an award and a free booth for the 2027 fair (valued at $130). Artist amenities include complimentary booth sitting service from 10am-4pm, complimentary vendor coffee from 7:30am-9am, free overnight trailer/RV parking, and free street parking. The fair is marketed through radio, TV, and social media across the midwest as part of the larger festival.
