About This Call
The Courageously Created Fine Art Show & Auction is a juried, in-person event held Saturday, April 25 through Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the new Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center Arena in Wenatchee, Washington. This Fine Art Show & Auction celebrates courage and creativity while serving a greater purpose: to raise funds to complete Alatheia's capital expansion project to double capacity and eliminate the waitlist. Saturday evening will feature an exclusive Opening Reception and Benefit Auction, followed by a public exhibition and additional sales on Sunday, coinciding with Alatheia's Open House expected to draw large community crowds.
The juror will present awards on Friday evening to the first place ($1000.00), second place ($600.00), and third place ($250.00) winners, along with three honorable mentions. Award-winning artist and International Instructor Ned Meuller has been selected as the featured artist and jury member. Submissions are accepted for original works of art in all subject matter, genres, and styles, appropriate for every age. Permitted mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastels, charcoal, and ink. Mixed media, triptychs, digital art, encaustic, crafts, sculpture, and photography are not permitted.
All artwork selected for exhibition must be available for sale. The final sale price will be split 50/50, with 50% of proceeds awarded to the artist and 50% supporting Alatheia. Starting auction bids will be set at approximately 35–40% of the retail value provided. Suggested retail pricing is $750–$2,500. Works must be framed or use gallery-wrapped canvases, correctly wired, and ready for hanging. Minimum size is 8" x 10", with maximum size not exceeding 30" x 24". Entry fee is $30.00, and artists must submit 1-3 images via CaFÉ by March 22, 2026.
