About This Call
Countryside Village Art Fair, held at Countryside Village Shopping Center in Omaha, Nebraska, is celebrating its 55th year in May 2026. The fair takes place May 30-31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Booth setup begins May 29 at 8:00 a.m. Donuts and coffee will be provided to artists Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., with bottled water provided mid-day both days.
Booth sizes and fees are: Single Booth (10 x 10) $325.00, Double Booth (20 x 20) $650.00, and Triple Booth (30 x 30) $950.00. All tents must be white and secured with weights. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting Nebraska sales tax (currently 7% in Omaha). The application deadline is March 31, 2026, with applications available starting December 3, 2025.
Accepted media include: wood, ceramics, drawing, fiber art/textiles, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. All artwork must be original design; mass-production molds, kits, and commercial methods are not allowed. Food vendors are excluded. The jury typically receives approximately 75 applications and selects about 75 artists, with an additional 20 exempt artists invited to participate. Returning artists are selected by the show director or board. Artists receive 100% of all sales proceeds and are solely responsible for collecting and reporting taxes on sales.
