Country: A National Juried Exhibition

Country is a national juried exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum open to all mediums, sizes, and interpretations from US-based artists. The exhibition runs June 11–July 10, 2026 (closed June 19 and July 4). An opening awards reception will be held Saturday, June 13 from 2–4pm, with six juror's prizes of $100 each presented.

The 2026 exhibition relates to the United States' 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Artists are invited to consider interpretations such as countryside scenes, country of origin, personal declarations of independence, country music icons, fireworks, founding mothers, yearning for a more perfect union, or other related themes. All mediums and interpretations are welcome, including 2D, 3D, installation, and audio/video work. There is no size limit, but all 2D and 3D submissions cannot weigh over 75 lbs each. Only original artwork that has not been previously exhibited at the AAM will be accepted. Each artist may submit a maximum of two different works. Artists must provide a brief statement about the concept behind each submission.

Entry fees are $18 for museum members or $25 for non-members, covering up to two pieces. Museum membership is $35. The submission deadline is Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:59pm ET. All artists will receive notification of the juror's decision by Thursday, May 14 at 7pm ET. Accepted work must be delivered between May 15–30, 2026 from 10am–3pm ET. The museum is closed Sundays, Mondays, and Saturday, May 23. In-person pick-up of exhibited work is available Saturday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 10am–3pm ET. All sales are subject to the AAM's commission of 30% for members and 40% for non-members. The AAM will insure all work from arrival through the stated pick-up dates, with a maximum coverage of $2,000 and a $500 deductible.
