About This Call
Cottonwood Art Festival located in Richardson, Texas, just minutes from Dallas, is an award-winning juried art show where over 193 artists exhibit their work among towering oaks with lakeside beauty. This event has been ranked one of the best fine art festivals in the nation and continues to uphold its extraordinary reputation as a first-rate show rich in history. Artists and patrons alike have been enjoying this extraordinary event for more than 57 years. Produced by The City of Richardson, Cottonwood Art Festival welcomes a vibrant, culturally diverse audience of loyal collectors and art enthusiasts to a community rich in artistic growth and sustainability.
The festival takes place May 2-3, 2026 at Cottonwood Park, 1321 W. Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75080. Approximately 200 artists will exhibit through a competitive monitor jury process. The jury is comprised of two quality artists and three art professionals who review applications in a "blind jury" process. Artists are scored on a scale of yes-no-maybe in the first round, with qualified artists advancing to a second round scored on a 1-7 scale. Application fee is $35, booth fees are $500 for single booth or $1,000 for double booth, with electricity available for $100 per booth.
Artist amenities include a two-day set-up schedule, exclusive Friday night artist and VIP dinner, designated Artist Hospitality Area with continental breakfast and afternoon snacks, 24-hour security, free admission and parking for attendees, and comprehensive marketing campaign throughout the DFW region. Artists must be present throughout the entire festival and are required to submit 4 images of work plus 1 booth image. All work must be original and created by the applying artist.
