co|show 2019

co|show 2019 is an open call poster exhibition held at the Colorado Gallery of the Western Colorado Center for the Arts in Grand Junction, Colorado, December 5th-27th, 2019. Formerly known as co2, co|show is a poster biennial held in the Fall of every odd year and is organized by Mesa Emerging Designers (MED), the AIGA affiliated student group at Colorado Mesa University, with support from Colorado Mesa University, the Western Colorado Center for the Arts, and various sponsors.

This open call is exclusive to professional designers with at least one year of design experience. Designers may submit up to three original works created within the last five years. Posters of any dimension are accepted as long as they can be hung on a wall. The entry fee is $10. Digital submissions (JPEG files at 72dpi, RGB) must be submitted by October 1st, 2019. Print submissions must be mailed to Colorado Mesa University, attn: co|show, 1100 North Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, USA by November 1st, 2019. One copy of each poster should be printed with the artist's name and poster title clearly written on the back.

The exhibition will be juried with winners selected on December 5th, 2019 and announced on the cmyk2.co website by December 7th, 2019. Winners will be selected in the following categories: Best Typography, Best Concept, Best use of Color, and Best in Show. Winners receive a certificate and bragging rights. Posters will be displayed in the exhibition and saved in the official co|show archive for educational purposes. Submitted posters will not be returned. co|show and the Western Colorado Center for the Arts may use images of accepted work for publicity, educational, and archival purposes.
