About This Call

Now in its 58th year, the annual Corn Hill Arts Festival celebrates the creation of original art, fosters community spirit, and raises funds for the Corn Hill Neighbors Association and the local community. Featuring approximately 350 talented artists and fine craftspeople, along with an impressive variety of food and live musical entertainment, this vibrant outdoor festival comes to life each year on the streets of Rochester's oldest residential neighborhood — historic Corn Hill. Attracting up to 125,000 visitors each year, the two-day celebration highlights the best of city living and showcases Rochester's deep commitment to the arts. Organized and operated entirely by neighborhood volunteers, the Corn Hill Arts Festival has been consistently recognized by Sunshine Artist Magazine as one of the nation's premier art festivals, earning enduring popularity among both visitors and artists alike.

The application fee is $40.00, paid online and non-refundable as long as the event continues as planned. Four digital images are required: three of individual artwork pieces and one booth shot showing overall continuity and professional presentation. Jurying is done separately for each category by local professional artists, with decisions based solely on submitted images. Artists are juried in categories including Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting/Drawing/Graphics, Photography, Pottery/Ceramics, Sculpture/Glass, Weaving/Leather/Textiles, Woodworking, and Consumable Crafts. All items displayed must be designed and executed by the accepted artist.

Cash prizes totaling $8,000 will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in eight categories. Booth fees are $300 for single booths (10'x10') and $575 for double booths (10'x20'), with limited electricity available for an additional $55 per plug. Artist amenities include dedicated street managers, artist-only bathrooms, daytime and overnight security, free parking permits, and over $90,000 in advertising and media coverage to promote festival foot traffic.
