CORE New Art Space: Water

CORE New Art Space invites submissions to the juried exhibition "Water." Water is the most powerful natural force on earth. It is simultaneously dangerous and life-giving, abundant yet under threat. Artists are invited to submit interpretations of this ubiquitous substance in any media.

CORE New Art Space, founded in 1981, is a non-profit contemporary art cooperative comprised of 24 member artists located in Denver's historic Santa Fe Arts District. CORE provides professional gallery space to its members as well as to the broader arts community and offers juried feature exhibitions as additional opportunities to artists. The activities of CORE New Art Space encourage the exploration of new and different forms of expression and promote the understanding of contemporary art for the general public.

Entry fee: $35.00. Work sample requirements: 1-3 images. Exhibition dates: July 9-26, with opening reception July 10, 6-9 pm. Jurors: Adam Finkelston and James Meara, co-editors of The HAND magazine, a quarterly publication based in Kansas City, MO, focusing on contemporary reproduction-based arts including printmaking and photography. International submissions are eligible.
