Core New Art Space: The Green Show

The Green Show is a juried exhibition open to all artists working in any media except video and large installations. The exhibition explores the color green in its many interpretations—whether representing nature, life, and renewal, or evoking envy, greed, and ambition. Artists are encouraged to submit works of various forms and interpretations of this theme.

Entries must be submitted electronically by June 10, 2021, with a $35 entry fee for up to 3 works. Submissions should include 1-3 images. Work must be no larger than 48 inches on its longest side, including frame; work exceeding these parameters will be disqualified. List all media used in the image description field. Accepted artists will be notified on June 13, 2021. Accepted work must arrive at Core New Art Space by July 3, 2021. The exhibition runs July 9-25, 2021, with an artist reception on Friday, July 9, 6-9 p.m.

Juror Denise Demby is a contemporary abstract painter, gallery owner, and glass artist based in Arvada, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and has exhibited in local and national juried and invitational shows. Judging will be based on overall impact, content, composition, mastery of technique, creativity, and craftsmanship. Core New Art Space is located at 6851 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214.
