Core New Art Space: Spring Break

Core New Art Space invites all artists to submit work interpreting the theme "Spring Break." Entries can explore the lightheartedness of new life, rebirth and emergence that Spring brings; a refreshing rejuvenating hiatus, recess or restful downtime; or the newness that springs forth by breaking free from tradition or breaking the mold. All visual mediums are included except video and installations.

Submit 1-3 images of work no larger than 48 inches on its longest side, including frame. Entry fee is $35. Judging will be based on overall impact, content, composition, mastery of techniques, creativity, and craftsmanship. Please list all media used in the description field for your entries. Art must be completely dry. Wall and suspended art must have suitable means for hanging (no sawtooth hangers). Standing art must be stable. Set-up diagrams must accompany multiple pieces and installation art. All art must remain in place for the duration of the show.

Show dates: Friday, May 13 – Sunday, May 29, 2022. Application deadline: Thursday, April 14, 2022. Notification of acceptance: Monday, April 18, 2022.
