Core New Art Space: Flora & Fauna

Core New Art Space invites artists in all mediums to interpret their definition of Flora and Fauna. The exhibition is open to all artists internationally. Entries must be submitted electronically by August 16, 2018, accompanied by a $35.00 entry fee. Submit 1-3 images of your work. The show runs September 13-30, 2018, with an artist reception on Friday, September 14th from 6-9pm. Accepted artists will be notified on August 23rd, 2018.

Work must be completely dry and arrive at the gallery by September 8th, 2018 (or by 3pm on September 9th for local drop-off). Limit artwork size to 4 x 4 feet in any direction (6 x 6 feet if hand-delivered). Wall and suspended art must have suitable hanging means (no sawtooth hangers). Standing art must be stable. Multiple pieces and installation art must include a set-up diagram. All work must remain in place for the duration of the show.

The exhibition will be juried by Denver artist Regan Rosburg, who teaches Fine Arts and Foundations at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and Metro State University. Judging will consider overall impact, content, composition, mastery of techniques, creativity, and craftsmanship. Core New Art Space charges a 30% commission plus tax on sold artwork. Artists are responsible for their own insurance. Artwork must be picked up by 4pm on September 30th, 2018; unclaimed work after 30 days will be considered property of the gallery.
