Cool Art Show by PAVA 2026

The 37th Annual Cool Art Show by PAVA is a juried fine art and fine craft show presented by The Professional Association of Visual Artists. The show attracts 2500 local visitors each year and is held indoors in the St. Petersburg Coliseum, an air-conditioned, 100+ year old theater and performance hall venue. The space accommodates 68 artist booth spaces, in addition to in-house concessions and artist led Interactive Arts Area for visitors. On-site parking is free for both artists and patrons, with easy access from I-275.

New in 2026, the show merges with PAVA Annual Awards Show with 8 cash awards totaling $1400. Artists accepted to the show must join PAVA (annual membership $60) if not already a member. The application fee is $40 per application, non-refundable. Artists must submit 3 images of original work and 1 booth shot through Zapplications by March 15th. Show dates are Saturday, July 18th (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and Sunday, July 19th (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.).

Accepted media includes painting, pastels, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, printmaking, metal, sculptures, ceramics, glass, fiber, jewelry, and wood. Artist amenities include Friday setup, continental breakfast and all day snacks on show days. Up to 20% of wall exhibits may be professional quality reproductions from numbered series, clearly labeled as such. All notifications will be sent Monday, April 6th, with acceptance and payment deadline of May 3rd.
