About This Call
CONTINUUM PB Art Fair is exclusively for artists who have participated in the fair for the last 8 years (2014-2021). The fair showcases South Florida artists from Palm Beach County and will be held at Palm Beach Art, Antique & Design Showroom, 500 N Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460. The showroom is a venue where national and international high-end collectors and interior designers acquire fine art and antiques.
Eligible artwork includes paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, installations, mixed media (hand created), and jewelry. Digital art of any kind is not accepted, with the exception of photography. Original work only created by the submitting artist is required. 2D artists may submit a maximum of three different images; 3D artists may submit a maximum of three concepts with different angles using uploads 1-4. All artwork must be for sale with a minimum price of $1,500 (jewelry minimum $500) and a maximum price of $15,000. Maximum dimensions for 2D work is 4'x4'; 3D work dimensions are open and determined by jurors. All work must be presentation ready (framed, gallery wrapped, properly labeled on the back).
Applicants must be 18 years or older and reside in Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, or Dade counties. Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable); accepted artists pay an additional $50 exhibition fee. The event runs November 3-30, 2022. Jury dates are September 6-18, 2022. Artists participating are eligible to win awards in four categories: Best in Show, Second, Third, and People's Choice. Sales commission is 60/40, with artists receiving 60% of net proceeds. Curators/Coordinators/Jurors are Anthony Burks Sr., Craig McInnis, and Trina Slade-Burks.
