About This Call
CORE New Art Space invites submissions to a juried exhibition titled "Contemporary Still Life." Artists are encouraged to submit their interpretations of this popular genre in any media, including 3-D work. The jurors will consider both the ideas underlying the subject matter and the artist's personal approach to the theme.
Submissions must include 1-3 images formatted at 72dpi with 1920 px on the longest side. The entry fee is $35. Artwork must not exceed 4 x 5 feet. Accepted artists should ship work to 1055 S Parfet Ct, Lakewood, CO 80226 by June 30. Fed Ex is preferred; packing peanuts should not be used. A return shipping label must be included or the piece will not be returned.
Notification of acceptance will be sent June 16-17. The reception is Friday, July 8 from 6-9 PM. Works dropped off in person should be picked up Sunday, July 24 at 4 PM. Shipped works with return labels will be returned the week of July 25.
