Contemporary Sculpture: Off the Wall, Floor and Ceiling

Site:Brooklyn Gallery, located in Brooklyn, New York, invites artists to submit work for the Contemporary Sculpture exhibition, running January 18 – February 16, 2019. The opening reception is Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6-9 PM. This open call is for all 3D media and is open to artists 18 years of age or older.

Submission Requirements: Only original works may be submitted. Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three images, with $10 for each additional image (minimum 3 images, maximum 12). All entries must be received by November 28, 2018 at 11:59 PM MST. Notification of acceptance will be sent December 7, 2018. All artwork must be suitably presented to a professional standard and priced for sale. Artists must provide the method for displaying the sculpture (plinth, stand, wall shelf, or bracket) plus all hardware for attachment. The gallery ceiling height is 18 feet. Artists may be required to assist with installation upon the gallery's request.

Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping of all artwork and must provide their own insurance. Site:Brooklyn retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Artwork cannot be withdrawn or shipped before the end of the exhibit. The juror is John Hatfield, Executive Director of Socrates Sculpture Park. For questions, contact [email protected].
