Contemporary Scape Show

The Hilliard Gallery in the Crossroads Art District in Kansas City, Mo., is seeking submissions for the Contemporary Scape Show. The show will open on March 6th and run through April 23rd, 2020. This call is open to all mediums and creative styles of artwork.

The Scapes theme is considered to be any art with interpretation, actual or imaginary, of natural elements such as mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, forests, farmland, trees, rivers, lakes, polar regions, rainforests, islands and tropical landscapes. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. Artists may submit up to 2 images per submission in JPEG or TIFF format. Submissions must include the medium, size, retail pricing, titles, contact information, and biography. The submission deadline is February 19th, 2020, and the entry fee is $10.00.

All accepted artwork must be delivered by March 2nd, 2020. Selected artwork must be available for sale during the show and in finished state, framed or ready to hang or displayed. Shipping of artwork is the responsibility of the artist. All artwork not sold during the show should be picked up or arrangements made for return shipping by April 24th, 2020.
