Conroe Art League 2nd Invitational Show

The Conroe Art League invites submissions of original 2D and 3D artwork created within the last five years. This is a national call for artists. The entry fee is $25.00, and artists may submit 1-4 images of their work.

Selected works will be exhibited at the Conroe Art League Gallery, located in the historic Madeley Building at 127 Simonton Street, Conroe, TX 77301, from February 1-24, 2017. The Artist Reception and Award Ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 6pm to 8pm. Artwork must be delivered to the gallery by Monday, January 30, 2017 at 6pm. Artwork pickup and return shipping will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 10am to 5pm.

Artwork specifications: All pieces must be original and created by the applicant within the last five years. No Giclée prints are allowed. Artwork may not exceed 50lbs. Maximum size for 2D artwork is 48"W x 60"H. 3D artwork maximum is 24"W x 36"H x 24"D. All artwork must be ready to hang with gallery wire on the back. Juror Cynthia Reid will select works for exhibition. Cash prizes will be awarded to four juried pieces: First Place $1,000, Second Place $600, Third Place $300, Fourth Place $100. Three additional honorable recognition ribbons will be awarded. Works are insured while in the gallery. A 20% commission will be taken on all works sold, with payment mailed to the artist within 30 days of exhibit closing. Artists are responsible for prepaid return shipping. The gallery reserves the right to keep digital images of selected artworks for publicity purposes.
