CONNECTION

CONNECTION is an online exhibition exploring the theme of human connection and shared experience across cultures and generations. The call invites artists to show what CONNECTION means through their perspective, whether emotionally, physically, or spiritually.

Accepted pieces will be displayed in an online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include First Place: $500, Second Place: $200, and Third Place: $100. All accepted artists receive 100% of sales from their work. JPEGs are due by Friday, July 16, 2021, with notification of acceptance and online gallery opening on Friday, August 13, 2021.

Entry fees are $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots can be sent by email without additional fees. This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except film/video. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Artwork previously exhibited in Art Fluent shows will not be chosen again. Selection is by director's choice with no personal feedback provided by jurors. All images must be in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
