CONNECT

Art League of Rhode Island announces a call to artists for an upcoming exhibition titled CONNECT, which seeks artwork that engages viewers, invites them into the artist's world, and sparks their curiosity. Artists are challenged to present art that inspires questions, provokes insight, and ignites conversations. Your work can help bridge the gap between artist and audience, creating a meaningful dialogue in our contemporary world. Open to: Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Ceramic, Collage, and Sculpture.

Entry fee is $30.00 plus a $10.00 media fee. Artists may submit 1-3 work samples (images, audio, or video). All artworks must be no heavier than 50 lbs and properly prepared for hanging. All works must be for sale unless approved otherwise by the Gallery & Exhibition Coordinator. ALRI takes a 30% commission from members and 40% from non-members; artists will be paid their percentage within 30 calendar days after the exhibition closes. Artists over 18 years of age are eligible.

Important dates: Call closes September 16, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Jurying period: September 17-20, 2024. Accepted artists announced: September 21, 2024. Drop-off: October 3-5, 2024 by appointment. Show run: October 12-November 9, 2024. Pick-up: November 11-12, 2024 by appointment. Opening reception: October 12, 5:30-7:30 pm. Closing reception: November 9, 5:30-7:30 pm.
