Connect

Connect is an open call for Colorado artists working in any two-dimensional or three-dimensional medium to submit work that delves into the theme of connection. This exhibition invites creators to interpret "connection" in its most expansive sense- whether it's the emotional resonance between people, the dialogue between artist and viewer, or the internal journey of self-awareness and identity. We welcome work that explores interpersonal relationships and shared experiences, the creative process as a form of connection, the tension and harmony between solitude and community, cultural, social or technological links that shape our world, and personal narratives that reveal inner truths. All 2D and 3D media types are encouraged, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media and digital formats.

The exhibition runs January 10 - February 15, 2026 at NKollectiv Gallery in Englewood's downtown district. Entry fee is $38.00 with submissions accepted until December 8, 2025. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces with maximum dimensions of 60" on the longest side for 2D work and 12" w x 12" l x 24" h for 3D work. Awards include Juror's Choice and People's Choice with no monetary prize. Commission is 60% artist, 40% gallery.

Jurors Chris Stevens (Director of Exhibitions for Center for the Arts Evergreen) and Jennifer Perlow (Principal of PS Art Consulting) bring over 40 years of combined arts experience. Artist notification is December 21, 2025, with artwork drop-off January 4-5, 2026. Opening reception is January 10 from 4-8 pm, with closing reception February 14 from 4-8 pm.
