Concho Clay National Juried Cup Show

The Concho Clay National Juried Cup Show is a national ceramics competition open to any individual 18 or older in the U.S. currently working in ceramics. Artists are invited to submit ceramic mugs, sippers, goblets, yunomi, or any work considered a "cup," whether functional or sculptural.

Submit up to 3 entries with an entry fee of $20. Each entry requires up to 2 digital images per artwork in JPEG format at high resolution (at least 300 dpi), labeled clearly with artwork title and view designation. Include title, dimensions (H x W x D), price, date, description of materials and techniques, and optional bio and artist website/social media. The juror is Dexter Woods, a ceramicist and studio manager at the Helen DeVitt Jones clay studio in Lubbock, TX.

Accepted work must arrive by March 27, 2026. The exhibition opens April 15, 2026 and closes April 19, 2026 at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. Awards include Juror's Choice ($100), People's Choice ($50), and Museum purchase. The Museum takes a 20% commission on sales. Work will be insured by the Museum while at Gallery Verde; artists are responsible for insuring works in transit and return shipping costs. Multiple workshops and events are planned April 15-18 in conjunction with the exhibition. All work must be returned by May 31, 2026.
