Colorful Colorado

R Gallery seeks submissions from Colorado artists for "Colorful Colorado," an exhibition celebrating the diverse and vibrant culture of Colorado through art depicting scenes or activities related to the state. All artists living and working in Colorado are welcome to submit works in any medium, including landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, abstract works, or any other subject matter representing the spirit and essence of Colorado.

The exhibition will be held at R Gallery in downtown Boulder from June 7 through July 16, 2023. Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and invited to attend the opening reception on June 8, 2023. Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents; all entries must be of original design and personal execution. Accepted categories include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. Pieces should be less than 36" wide including frame or case, with limited spots available for pieces up to 48" wide.

Entry fee is $30.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submissions must include 1-12 images. Accepted works must arrive by June 4, 2023. R Gallery handles all sales with a 50% commission; all pieces must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. Work will be returned within 2 weeks of the exhibition's end. Notification of acceptance will be sent by May 18, 2023. Contact [email protected] for questions.
