Colored Pencil Society of America 32nd International Exhibition

The Colored Pencil Society of America invites artists to submit work for the 32nd International Exhibition. Open to living artists 18 years or older, regardless of geographic location. Artworks must be 100% colored pencil on a 2-dimensional, manufactured surface with no artist preparation. Each artist may submit one or two works for consideration, though selection is limited to no more than one work per artist.

Artwork must be the original concept and design of the submitting artist and must have been completed during or after 2021. Work previously displayed in any CPSA International Exhibition is not eligible. Entry fees are $20 for CPSA members and $25 for non-members. The deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on April 1, 2024. Selected artists will be notified by phone or email in early July, and a list of selected artists will be posted on the CPSA website no later than May 1, 2024.

The exhibition offers more than $20,000 in cash awards, including a $5,000 cash award and CIPPY Trophy for the Best of Show winner. Artists are responsible for a cartage fee of $80 as well as costs for shipping and framing. By submitting an entry, artists commit to ship their artwork for the full duration of the exhibition. A final in-person review of selected artwork will be conducted to ensure compliance with execution, framing, and other requirements.
