Colorado Mesa University Center of Reflection Stained Glass RFP

Colorado Mesa University seeks stained glass manufacturing and installation services for the eastern face of the Campus Center of Reflection/Sanctuary building. The total stained glass budget is $40,000. The university is looking to secure the services of accomplished stained glass artisans with an extensive track record of successful projects in the region. Current faculty, staff, students, and alumni of CMU are encouraged to apply.

The Art Selection Committee will evaluate submissions based on artistic excellence, technical competence, conceptual compatibility, scale, material, form and content, ease of maintenance with minimal and low cost maintenance, and demonstration of successful prior projects. Applicants must submit 3-6 digital images of prior stained glass projects, a current résumé, and a statement of interest (250 words or less) through the CaFÉ online application system. There is no application fee. The submission deadline is September 25, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The selection panel will meet on September 28, 2020, with notifications of selections on October 1, 2020.
