College Invitational 2025

The Indianapolis Art Center is calling for entries for a national juried exhibition open to currently enrolled college and university students 18 and older living in the United States. The exhibition focuses on students pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in any field of fine art and/or craft. Students pursuing other degrees are welcome to apply but should consider the competitive nature of this call. All media is eligible; installation artists should contact the Art Center before applying to ensure space compatibility. Work must be original, made within the last two years, and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center. 2D artwork must not weigh more than 250 pounds or exceed 10' x 10'.

Jurors will consider works of the highest artistic quality and merit. Cash awards total $2,000.00: Best in Show ($1,000.00), Best in 2D including video ($500.00), and Best in 3D including installation ($500.00). Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on April 11th, 5-8pm. Attendance is encouraged but not required.

Entry fee is $35 for submission of two pieces, with an additional $5 per additional artwork. All accepted work must remain on display until May 25th, 2025. Work must arrive by March 9th, 2025; artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance in transit. Work must be shipped in a reusable container with return shipping paid by the artist. Hand-delivered work may be dropped off February 12th through March 9th, 2025. All work may be offered for sale; the Art Center retains a 35% commission on sales. Multi-media and installation artists should be available to assist with installation March 10th-23rd, 2025.
