Collective Worlds: Open Call for Art

Artists have the ability to conceive entire universes, constructed around personal or political beliefs, local or global concerns, or feelings of despair or hope. They may be expansive and vast, or intimate and circumspect, populated by few or shared by many. This exhibition asks artists to present the alternate realities in which they are a part of, shape, or envision. Hera Gallery seeks work in all media, 2D, 3D, and video. 3D work is limited to 100 lbs and must fit through a 5'10" x 6'8" door. 2D work must also fit through said door.

Application Deadline: September 23, 2022. Entry Fee: $35.00. Work samples may include up to 5 images, 5 audio files, and/or 5 video files (minimum 1 sample required, maximum 5 total samples). Jury Dates: October 2-21, 2022. Notification of Acceptance: Hera Gallery will contact artists by October 22, 2022. Exhibition Dates: November 19 - December 17, 2022. Artwork Delivery Due: November 10, 2022.

Artwork delivery instructions will be sent to accepted artists. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and shipping containers, and must include prepaid return shipping labels. Hera Gallery retains a 35% sales commission. Although care will be taken in handling work, Hera Gallery assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft; artists are responsible for their own insurance. Hera Gallery reserves the right to photograph work for publicity and to use artist names, likenesses, personal information, and artwork in publicity materials or exhibition documentation.
