Collage

Site:Brooklyn Gallery, located in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking submissions for a juried collage exhibition. This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older working in two-dimensional mixed media collage incorporating drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and bas relief collage. Works may range from traditional to experimental. The juror is Rachel Wolff, a writer, editor, and video producer based in Brooklyn who has written about visual art for New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, ARTnews, Art + Auction, and Modern Painters.

Submission Requirements: Only original works may be submitted. Submit 3-12 images. Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three images, with $10 for each additional image. All entries must be received by April 29, 2019 at 11:59 PM MT. Maximum artwork size is 60" x 60" x 12" D. All artwork must be suitably framed to professional standard using Plexiglas (except hand-delivered work less than 24" x 30"). Work must be wired or have cleat attachment and ready for hanging. A label must be affixed to the back indicating artist name, title, medium, dimensions, price, and which end is the top. All artwork must be priced for sale. Site:Brooklyn will retain a 50% commission on all exhibition sales.

Exhibition Dates: June 14–July 13, 2019. Opening reception: Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6-9 PM. Notification of acceptance: May 8, 2019. Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping. Site:Brooklyn assumes no liability for loss or damage to artwork while in their care. All entry fees are non-refundable. Artwork cannot be withdrawn or sales shipped before the end of the exhibit.
