About This Call
The 44th Annual Codman Estate Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival features nearly 100 artisans working in painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, food wares, glass, fiber art, metalworking, woodworking, clothing, and more. The event includes live musical entertainment, food vendors, and tours of the Codman Estate, a sixteen-acre country property featuring a hidden turn-of-the-century Italian garden with perennial beds, statuary, and a reflecting pool.
Artists are selected through a blind jury process. The application deadline is April 3, 2026. A jury of 7-10 people will review and score applications based solely on five submitted images (four of artwork/product and one of booth set-up) and the artist statement, using a 1-10 scoring scale. Artisans will be notified of jury status in mid to late May 2026 via email. Accepted exhibitors must pay a $75 booth fee by July 10, 2026, to confirm participation. The application fee is $10 and non-refundable. Booth fees are fully refundable if cancellation is received in writing before July 31, 2026; no refunds are given after that date.
All products must be original, hand-crafted, and well-executed. Historic New England does not accept AI, commercial goods for resale, kits, imported, or consigned goods. Work must be designed and crafted by the applying artisan and be family-friendly. Exhibitors may apply in up to 3 categories. Booth space is 12 x 12 feet. Exhibitors must provide their own tents, tables, or canopies; no electricity or generators are allowed. Booths must have either 30lbs of attached weight per leg or stakes no shorter than 6 inches. Setup begins at 7:00 a.m. on September 12; breakdown cannot begin until 4:00 p.m. The festival is rain or shine. For questions, contact Kai Adams at [email protected].
