About This Call
The Coconut Point Art Festival in Estero, known as "The Big One!", is back for its lucrative weekend. The event consistently attracts record crowds and generates impressive revenues year after year. This February festival is recognized as one of the premier fine art festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Coconut Point is a breathtaking community, featuring numerous acres of lakes and boardwalks. It serves as a hub for shopping, dining, working, socializing, and living, boasting over 100 stores and 25 restaurants.
This competitive show is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted, chosen by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists. The application fee is $595.00 with a $35.00 non-refundable jury fee. Artists must submit 4 images of work and 1 image of a 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent. Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. Booth spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available) with setup on Friday and show hours Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.
Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved individual artist. The artist must be present throughout the event to engage with patrons. One medium only per booth is permitted, and all artwork must match what was submitted in the application. Howard Alan Events has an ongoing jury process with applications juried in order of date received, and artists are recommended to apply early as categories may close once maximum allotment is reached.
