Clear Lake Arts Center Art in the Park 2025

Now in its 46th year, the Clear Lake Arts Center Art in the Park invites artists to apply to join the event on July 26, 2025, in Clear Lake, IA. Located at Clear Lake's City Park at the intersection of Main Street and South 3rd Street, approximately 75 artists will be invited to exhibit this year. The event runs from 9 am to 4 pm and attracts an annual average of 7,000 people from a 120+ mile radius.

The primary focus is a juried exhibition of quality fine art, with additional family activities, entertainment, outdoor food vending, and artist demonstrations. Artists will be provided with complimentary booth sitting service (subject to availability) and access to a hospitality table with coffee, juice, fruit, and pastries. The jury fee is $25 (non-refundable) and booth fees are $150 for single booths or $300 for double booths.

Applications require 5 images total (4 work images and 1 booth image) and must be submitted by May 1st at midnight CST. All work must be original and handcrafted by the exhibiting artist, with 80% of 2-dimensional work being original. Artists must be present during all show hours and may only exhibit work in their accepted media category. Artists retain 100% of sales and are responsible for Iowa sales tax collection and reporting.
