About This Call
ClaySpace: Clay3 2014 is a juried ceramic art exhibition open to artists working in the continental United States. The exhibition will be held February 28 - March 30, 2014 at Warrenville Public Library, 28W751 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL 60555.
Artists may submit up to 3 entries for $30 total, with up to 3 images per entry. All work must be functional or sculptural ceramic art no larger than 12"x12"x12" and use clay as at least 75% of the primary medium. Work will be juried anonymously by nationally recognized artist Kurt Weiser. Accepted works must be suitable for shipping and public display and cannot be removed before the exhibition concludes. Work that differs significantly from submitted images will be rejected.
Awards include Best of Show ($550), Second Best ($250), Third Place ($150), and Honorable Mention ($50). ClaySpace retains 25% of selling prices and collects Illinois sales tax. ClaySpace reserves the right to photograph and publish entries. Artists must carry their own insurance; ClaySpace assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. Entry deadline: January 15, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Work must be received by February 19, 2014. Opening reception is February 28, 2014.
