Clay Cubed

Clay Cubed is an exhibition open to all artists working in the continental United States. Functional and sculptural ceramic art must fit within one cubic foot (12"X12"X12") and use 75% of clay as the primary medium.

Artists may submit up to 2 entries. The first entry is $30 and an additional entry is $15. Each entry must include up to 1 image per submission. The exhibition will be juried from digital submissions by recognized ceramic artist Jonathan Pacheco, mixed media artist Joey Knox, and Deborah Venezia, Director of Arts DuPage. The show will be judged by Benjamin Carter, a renowned ceramic artist and instructor. All entries are presented to the jury in an anonymous manner.

The exhibition will be held October 4-25, 2019 at ClaySpace gallery, 740 Front Street, Lisle, IL 60532. Artists will be notified by August 19, 2019. Work must be received by September 13, 2019. The opening reception is October 4, 2019. Return shipping begins October 27, 2019. Awards: Best of Show $500, Second Best $350, Third Place $150. ClaySpace retains 30% of the selling price for its services and is responsible for collecting Illinois sales tax. Artists are responsible for all shipping fees and must include a return shipping label. Accepted work that differs significantly from the submitted image will be rejected. ClaySpace reserves the right to photograph and publish entries. Artists must carry their own insurance.
