Clarksville Christmas Lights Competition

This competition aims to stimulate and enhance a sense of community by rewarding residents and businesses who go above and beyond in decorating for the winter holiday season. Award guidelines are established by the Clarksville Arts Commission.

The competition is open to any locations within the Town of Clarksville limits and includes three categories: Residential (single-family homes, owner or renter occupied), Non-Profit/Municipal (schools, churches, fire departments, and other non-profit or municipal entities), and Businesses (any business located within the Town of Clarksville). Participants may only enter one category. Decorations must be visible from the roadway. Members of the Clarksville Arts Commission are not eligible to participate.

Within the Residential category, entries can be submitted in two styles: Clark W Griswold (displays with extensive lights and inflatable characters) or Traditional (displays capturing the nostalgia of Christmas with fresh garlands, wreaths, and traditional white lights). All entries must be submitted via ArtCall no later than midnight on December 1st and must include a picture or video of the decorations. Judging will occur from December 1st through the 20th, with winners announced the week of December 22nd. Participants agree to have their address published on the Town website and social media.
