Clark County Open Studios 2022

Clark County Open Studios is a juried art event for visual artists and artisans in Clark County working in all media. The event offers artists an opportunity to gain recognition, open their studio doors to the public, and show and sell their work. For the community, Open Studios is a free self-guided tour that enhances awareness of local artists and enriches the cultural life of Clark County neighborhoods.

The Open Studios tour takes place Saturday-Sunday, November 5-6, 2022, from 10 am to 5 pm. A preview exhibit and artists' reception will be held on First Friday, November 4, 2022, at Art at the CAVE Gallery, 108 E Evergreen Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98660. The preview exhibit will feature one work of art from each participant, with the hosting gallery receiving a 50% commission on sales during the preview.

Artists must have a regular, ongoing studio workspace for creating art located within Clark County, Washington. During Open Studios, participating artists must exhibit a minimum of 15 pieces of original art created within the last three years. Reproductions are limited to 20% of display space and must be clearly labeled. The event is open to a wide range of visual media including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, wood, metal, glass, fiber arts, jewelry, photography, digital art, and printmaking.

The application deadline is May 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The non-refundable entry fee is $25. Applicants must submit five digital images of artwork created in the last three years and a brief artist statement (approximately 150 words). Artists who are accepted will receive notification by June 6th and must pay a $125 participation fee by June 10th to confirm participation.
