City of San Ramon Galleries Annual Call

The City of San Ramon invites artists of all ages and stages to apply to exhibit in the city's galleries. Artists must have a minimum body of work of 10 pieces. This call will furnish the City's galleries with month-long exhibits during the 2026 calendar year, with the exception of the San Ramon Library, which hosts exhibits on a bimonthly schedule.

Five gallery spaces are available: Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (30+ pieces, up to 115 linear feet, 2D/3D); Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery (25-30 pieces, up to 100 linear feet, 2D/3D); San Ramon City Hall (30+ pieces, up to 125 linear feet, 2D only); Alcosta Senior & Community Center (20-25 pieces, up to 70 linear feet, 2D only); and San Ramon Library (10-15 pieces, up to 54 linear feet, 2D only). Both solo and group exhibits are accepted. Work must be original and created entirely by the entering artist, with no AI-generated work. Work cannot contain nudity, violence, or otherwise inappropriate imagery or themes. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work are accepted, excluding film.

Applications open August 12 and close September 24 via CaFE. Submit up to 5 image samples (jpeg format), an artist statement, and artist resume. There is no application fee. If selected, an exhibition fee of $30-$55 is due by December 1. Selection notifications will be sent October 31.
