About This Call
Northern Colorado artists are invited to showcase their work along the Galleria walls of the Loveland Public Library. TAAP 2D promotes two-dimensional artists through public display of their artworks in City of Loveland facilities and allows artists a means for artwork sales. Artwork will be on display from February 2021 through February 2022.
This project is open to all Northern Colorado artists working in two-dimensional media. Artists may submit up to three different works of art per application. Selected artwork must be considered museum "ready to hang" with a standard wire system, framed when appropriate, with protective glass when appropriate, professionally fabricated and durable for public display. Artwork is installed on an art railing, and D-ring hanging hardware is highly recommended for framed work. Selected artwork must remain on display for the duration of the program, with the exception of photographs sold within the first three months that are part of an edition.
Applications will be reviewed by a jury panel consisting of Art in Public Places representatives and the general public. Selected artists will be notified by February 12, 2021, and must enter into a City Contract by February 18, 2021. Selected artists will deliver artwork by February 18, 2021, with installation to follow. Artists will be compensated with an honorarium of $350.00. Submission deadline is January 19, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
