City of Lone Tree: Exploring the Light Photo Show 2016

City of Lone Tree is hosting the Exploring the Light Photo Show 2016, a juried photography exhibition. The entry deadline is March 25th, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Photographers must be local to Colorado and eligible to deliver and pick up their photos in person at the Lone Tree Arts Center. The entry fee is $35.00, payable via credit card through CaFE or by check made payable to the City of Lone Tree and mailed to: Lone Tree Arts Center, c/o Photo Show, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, CO 80124.

Photographers may submit up to 3 images. Images must be originals executed and altered by the photographer only, completed within the last 3 years, and not previously shown in a Lone Tree Photo Show. Images must be non-offensive to a general audience of all ages and must be for sale. Submissions are organized into five categories: Landscape, Animals, Abstract, People in Sport, and Human Interest. All images must be delivered framed and ready to hang, meeting gallery quality standards with appropriate hardware and picture wire. Framed images must not weigh more than 35 lbs. Images cannot display the artist's name or identifying marks on the front; signatures on the back are acceptable.

The exhibition runs April 27th through May 29th, 2016. Images must be delivered April 26th (9am-11:30am) and picked up May 31st (9am-11:30am). Individual images are juried through a blind review process. Total cash awards are estimated at $3,000, including Best of Show, first place winners in each category, and first, second, and third place awards in every category. Best of Show and first place category winners receive gallery space for approximately 2 weeks at the Lone Tree Arts Center following the show.
