City of Lafayette Gallery Walls - 2024

The City of Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department invites Colorado artists to submit work for display in City facilities. This is a no-fee, juried exhibition where artwork will be selected by a panel of City staff and typically hang for a two-month period. The artist or a proxy must be available to hang the artwork.

Local artists as well as artists from other Colorado regions are encouraged to apply. All works must be suitable for public display and display-ready, including matting, framing, and hanging wire compatible with the City Gallery Walls hanging system. Two-dimensional media is preferred; wall-hung 3-dimensional media will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on available space. Currently booking for the Lafayette Public Library and Lafayette Senior Center.

Applicants must submit 5-15 images of their work along with an image list (title, media, size, date) and an artist's statement focusing on the submitted work. All artwork must be framed and assembled. Preference is given to local, Colorado artists.
