About This Call
The City of Greeley's One Percent for Art Program is requesting qualifications from artists to create artwork that will commemorate WD Farr's contributions to the City. The Greeley City Council would like to commission an artist(s) to design a representational bronze sculpture to be installed in Greeley, CO.
The design will need to be sensitive to Farr's contributions to the community regarding water, agriculture, and business as well as to his natural abilities as a family man, a pioneer and a visionary for the future of Greeley. All artwork must be original. A budget of up to $60,000.00 is currently available for the bronze sculpture. The total contract amount includes all applicable expenses including but not limited to design fees, execution, transportation, travel, site preparation, lighting, landscaping and installation of the artwork selected. Projects proposed to exceed the budget will not be considered.
Submit 6 images. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered.
