City of Greeley: Union Colony Civic Center Water Feature

The City of Greeley is seeking artists to design and execute a water feature for the Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC). A budget of up to $300,000 is available for this project, which includes all applicable expenses including design fees, execution, transportation, site preparation, lighting, landscaping, and installation.

The artwork must relate to the theme of water in Greeley and provide betterment to the water utility. The water theme may include the necessity of clean water to citizens, environmental themes, water savings, or other related concepts. Concepts must include a tie to the Greeley Water or sewer system through education (interpretive signage), materials used, or historic interpretation of water use in the Greeley area. The water feature should function year-round, including winter months, and be equally dramatic day or night. Materials may include water, glass, metal, or other materials that can be dramatically illuminated at night, and could be programmed to respond to music.

Submissions should include 1-6 images. All forms of media appropriate and complementary to the project will be considered. Projects proposed to exceed the $300,000 budget will not be considered. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered. Contact [email protected] for questions.
