City of Greeley: Centennial Village Art Fence

Centennial Village, one of Greeley's largest historical sites, is currently surrounded by a chain link fence. This living history museum seeks a functional work of art to replace the existing fence. The new fence must be durable, low maintenance, and allow visitors to see the treasures on the other side while remaining sensitive to the historical nature of the buildings.

The Art Fence must relate to the broad theme of water in Greeley, as the One Percent funds for this project have been generated from the City of Greeley Water Department projects. All forms of media that are appropriate and complementary to the project, theme, and site will be considered.

A budget of up to $80,000 is available for not less than 200 feet of fence. The total contract amount includes all applicable expenses, including design fees, execution, transportation, site preparation, lighting, landscaping, and installation. Projects proposed to exceed the budget will not be considered. Eight images are required for submission.
